Amiibos Have Become a Live-Action MMO Questline

Added: 22.01.2015 0:00 | 7 views | 0 comments

Nintendo's amiibos frighten me. I have an entire shelf dedicated to my Disney Infinity figurines, and on top of that, I have about twelve Skylanders figurines (which is hardly a lot) with the various Portal of Power in a cabinet taking up space. So getting any one of the numerous adorable amiibos would just open the floodgates, luring my materialistic fanboy side into the darkness. I dare not enter for the sake of my sanity.

A part of my reluctance stems from several anecdotes by other fellow journalists about just how difficult it is to get the complete set, running from retailer to retailer to follow through on their hopes that they find Shulk at GameStop, Meta Knight at Best Boy, Lucario at Toys 'R Us, and Rosalina and Luma at Target. That's a lot of gas money or, if you're in the city, at least a lot of walking.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Review - Gamindustri Girl Power | Dealspwn

Dealspwn: "Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 is a genuinely great handheld JRPG, bringing a PS3 cult classic up to date in almost every way, while the Vita turns its remaining weaknesses into strengths. I'm currently reviewing Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 ahead of its January 23rd embargo, but it's only fair that I give last year's remake the overdue credit it deserves."

Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell Review "Short But Sinfully Sweet" | Power Up Gaming

Added: 21.01.2015 2:10 | 30 views | 0 comments

Adam Shepherd writes: "I've never really 'got' Johnny Gat. Maybe it's because I came into the Saints Row series at number three, but it never really sold me on how heart-stoppingly awesome he was supposed to be. This is a slight shame, as that's the plot of Saints Row IV's standalone expansion, Gat Out of Hell, more than anything else. Yeah, alright, it's technically about the boss of the Saints getting dragged to Hell, but really, it mainly consists of 'Johnny Gat, Unstoppable God-King of the Universe'."

Added: 20.01.2015 5:13 | 6 views | 0 comments

UM writes: Its well established that ninjas rule everything around them and are totally sweet. Video game creators certainly know this fact, so its no surprise that ninjas have appeared in various video games throughout the years. Just about all of them kick ass, but some stand out much more than others. I recently played Ninja Blade demo which I thought sucked and got to thinking about the coolest, most bad ass ninjas in video games. Naturally, I created another Power Rankings. After the jump, take a look at the top five video game ninjas presented as always in reverse order.

The Importance Of The Dreamcast

Added: 18.01.2015 15:10 | 7 views | 0 comments

From EGMR, "Eventually Sega would release their final foray into the console market with the Dreamcast which suffered a short lived history at the time. The console didnt last long and was crushed by other sixth generation competitors such as the PlayStation 2, GameCube and Microsofts original Xbox. I remember fondly my first exposure to the Dreamcast with games like Power Stone and Sonic Adventure, which showed off brilliant graphical updates from the previous console generation, accompanied by a rather awkward controller design for the console itself."
