Greg Hill: "Whether perceptions will change when the full game is released, it remains to be seen. I dont exactly dread it coming out, but it also doesnt excite. There clearly has been some kind of idea here that has been lost under a shroud of poorly thought out mechanics and development. I hope to see an improvement come release day, but that may be optimistic thinking."

So whats new for Guitar Hero Live? Two things that stand out are the new button configuration which are two rows of three buttons on top of each other and the point of view of the game showing the crowds and band members. Also the live action crowd responses and band are a nice touch but are gonna be hard to focus on while concentrating on the notes themselves.

Palmer Sturman: Gore, violence, gunplay, slow motion totally awesome bullet time effects that show off all the giblets flying around on screen Well, that only describes one possible title: Killing Floor 2, one of my most anticipated games of this year. I took some time to play the beta and got to see exactly what Tripwire has up their sleeve for the upcoming release. Whats the verdict, you ask? Well, the verdict is as follows: this is without a doubt a day one purchase. If youre a fan of the previous game, you will love the second outing. If this is your first time, then welcome. Youll enjoy your stay.
