Noobfeed Writes: "Remember the good old days of Unreal Tournament? Where you and your buddies could just hook your computers up together and have a massive death match? Where there was no regenerating health or obnoxious constant voice chat? When an FPS was filled with silent characters that never talked, crazy guns and ridiculous speed and power? Well, if you do or if you're curious about a game like that, look no further than TOXIKK from Reakktor Studios: an indie that's a throwback to the old games of yore. The slogan in the description is Frag like it's 1999, and that's accurate statement to what the game is."

| Tactical Superiority: Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Closed Alpha Preview | Gamerevolution

GR:
Tactical shooters have been moved to the wayside these past few years as more action-oriented shooters have grown in popularity. For gamers like myself who enjoy teamwork and methodical gameplay it's been an unfortunate turn of events.
There is one game arriving later this year that is aiming to deliver something much different than the first-person shooter genre has been used to seeing. That game is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, and it's a game with a heavy emphasis on team coordination. I've played a few hours of its Closed Alpha and learned not only what it's about, but that it has a huge opportunity to deliver an exceptional experience.

| Were All Mad Here Nevermind Preview | GIZORAMA

Johnny Ohm, GIZORAMA - "One sure sign of a truly great game is how the players feel when they finally walk away from it. Did their virtual adventure have any lasting effect, and if so, does it change the way they look at the world around them? Nevermind, an indie horror game by Flying Mollusk, blends together maddeningly deep storytelling, horrifyingly beautiful visuals, and innovative technology to create a truly potent psychological experience. This Early-Access game, thus far, isnt so much played as it is experienced, and youre sure to step away feeling broken and vulnerable."

| Asteroids: Outpost - PC Preview | Chalgyr's Game Room

Chalgyr's Game Room writes:
Asteroids: Outpost certainly has some interesting ideas and it feels as though the development team has their heart in the right place. Unfortunately at this stage of the game, there is a considerable lack of material and plenty of rough edges to work around. Games on Early Access can be a great idea, and it looks like the development team is actively watching for feedback. At the same time, this feels like a title that has hit Early Access a bit too soon for its own good.

Chalgyr's Game Room writes:
Cyperpunk settings have always held a special place in my heart and frankly there are far to few games set in this dark and gritty sci-fi setting. Fortunately though, the recent success of titles like Shadowrun or the older Deus Ex titles, have kept gamers sated these last few years by having some excellent releases. Enter in the development studio 5 Lives Studios, a small studio (talking less than 10 people) that had a fantastic Kickstarter campaign back in 2013.
Fast forward to early 2015 and Satellite Reign is now available on Steam Early Access for gamers to get in and experience a new world. As a class-based real-time strategy game, you will be tossed into a dark and gritty cyberpunk city where you have not only the tools, but the freedom to play how you want to play. You will battle for control of this living, breathing cyberpunk city, against the mega-corporations that control the world's governments. We were fortunate to get our hands on an...

| PC Preview - 'Dirty Bomb' | Worthplaying

WP:
Just about anyone can make a fast-paced first-person shooter, but it takes a lot more work to make it well-rounded enough to keep players coming back for more. The gameplay in Dirty Bomb hearkens back to the gameplay dynamics of titles like Team Fortress 2 in the sense that teamwork is incredibly important and the action comes at a rapid-fire pace. Just as interesting is how the game is holds your attention with its persistent progression mechanics.
