GR: Tactical shooters have been moved to the wayside these past few years as more action-oriented shooters have grown in popularity. For gamers like myself who enjoy teamwork and methodical gameplay it's been an unfortunate turn of events. There is one game arriving later this year that is aiming to deliver something much different than the first-person shooter genre has been used to seeing. That game is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, and it's a game with a heavy emphasis on team coordination. I've played a few hours of its Closed Alpha and learned not only what it's about, but that it has a huge opportunity to deliver an exceptional experience.

Chalgyr's Game Room writes: Asteroids: Outpost certainly has some interesting ideas and it feels as though the development team has their heart in the right place. Unfortunately at this stage of the game, there is a considerable lack of material and plenty of rough edges to work around. Games on Early Access can be a great idea, and it looks like the development team is actively watching for feedback. At the same time, this feels like a title that has hit Early Access a bit too soon for its own good.

WP: Just about anyone can make a fast-paced first-person shooter, but it takes a lot more work to make it well-rounded enough to keep players coming back for more. The gameplay in Dirty Bomb hearkens back to the gameplay dynamics of titles like Team Fortress 2 in the sense that teamwork is incredibly important and the action comes at a rapid-fire pace.
