TeamVVV writes: "We get to grips with the Audi R18 in Project CARS racing at the iconic Spa circuit and take another look at the improved wet weather effects in the recently released 3.0 update.
If controlling a very powerful racing car in the wet wasn't enough of a challenge we've also introduced heavy fog in to the equation for that extra degree of difficulty."

"Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX is a game packed with so much content, I barely knew where to start with this review. The rhythm game portion is well done, the customization options are nice, and the mini-games and other extra features are all a treat. It may not be an absolutely perfect experience, but it is certainly a very well done one." -- Nintendo Enthusiast

GT:
The music/rhythm genre is on the rise, it seems. After the long drought for the genre that became bloated with countless rhythm titles in the mid 2000s, it appears the planets may have aligned once again in favor of those gamers with a passion of hitting buttons along with music queues. The recent announcements of Rock Band and Guitar Hero making a harmonious return to the gaming scene might prove that gamers are still interested in the once overwhelming genre, as long as there is still uniqueness and originality. Does this port of a 2-year-old music game on the 3DS have what it takes to stand up to that scrutiny that rehashes of the past few years have created?

Although it is immensely popular in Japan, the Western audience is still quite new to the Hatsune Miku craze. What started as a Vocaloid package (Vocaloid being singing synthesizer software) has exploded into a series and franchise of its own, spawning more character-based packages as well as a slew of other bits of media.

Whod have thought fake people could put on such a kickass show?
The last time I played one of these, the phrase pop songs as sung by Siri popped into my head, which might be a bit harsh but not altogether inaccurate. Hatsune Miku is a series centered around the titular character, who is a popular virtual idol with a completely computerized voicelong neon-blue hair, headphones eternally over her ears, perfectly-choreographed dance moves, the whole nine. And on the 3DS in Project Mirai DX, instead of trying to appear as a 3D anime-styled idol, all of the idols in the package are short, squatter chibi figures that are just adorable.

NWR:
For the uninitiated, Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX is a mostly-straightforward rhythm game involving button presses and cute anime girls. For the initiated, its the third Western-released game in a series of very good, mostly-straightforward rhythm games involving button presses and cute anime girls. While Mirai DX is just like the two Project Diva games released before on Vita and PS3 in most ways, it manages to do this just a little different and just a little worse.

Her head might make up 55% of her body's total mass, but the chibi version of Hatsune Miku still provides quality gameplay to those who love rhythm games, as Kevin can attest. While I'm not as into the Project Mirai (3DS) games as the Project Diva titles (PSP, Vita, PS3, soon PS4), Miku is Miku and fun is fun. My own music game of right now is, as you may recall, Persona 4: Dancing All Night. It's just too good.

DTOID:
In many respects, Hatsune Miku symbolizes my interest in Japan. It doesn't matter how much I learn about the virtual pop star or the amazing/bizarre subculture that has taken root around her; it's tough to imagine ever truly fathoming the vocaloid phenomenon. And yet that's a large part of the appeal.
