The thing we love about this game is that the developers havent tried to make any major changes to the original Rayman. This is exactly what we feared they would do and its the reason we weren't too interested in this game when it was first released. However its clear from the demo that rather than try to create a completely new game, theyve only modernised the original, and theyve done it incredibly well.

If youve ever watched Rayman jet down a zip-line, or played god in From Dust, odds are youve experienced just one of the many games made in part by Neil Devine. Veteran of such titles as Rayman Legends, Beowulf: The Game, and Scooby Doo: Unmasked! to name a few, Devines made and played plenty by ear as one of the first audio programmers behind the earliest titles to be released on Ubisofts famous UbiArt Framework engine.
Fresh off his latest work with Child of Light, Devine took the time to talk with us about hist latest work and just a bit about making the art behind UbiArt.
