VGR - "Rayman Origins was one of the surprise games of 2011 and while before I wasnt a fan of the limbless guy, I was bowled over by the difference from the old games and actually warmed to the franchise. The gameplay in Rayman Legends is more refined, but also more of the samewhich isnt a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination."

The game was greatly enjoyed by almost all who played it, yet in a world where platformers are no longer king, it never quite achieved the popularity to match its quality. Rayman Legends and Super Mario- The Series have more in Common than you Think

Added: 05.09.2013 21:23 | 15 views | 0 comments

Rayman Legends, a much anticipated, critically acclaimed 2D platformer presented to us by the folks over at Ubisoft, was released this week. This game was a fun journey and an impressive display of the Rayman franchise. As we know Nintendo also has a pretty popular franchise, Super Mario. Super Mario has been around for years; Super Mario Bros. being another widely popular platform game. Super Mario Bros. is the leader of the platform genre. It has made nearly all games in this genre seem like a copy however when you look into the small details of Rayman Legends (besides the unlockable Mario and Luigi costume for Wii U owners) you might see more similarities than what was originally thought.

Rayman Legends Review | CheatCC

CCC Says: "Confidence exudes from Rayman Legends. The game juggles a staggering amount of absurd content. A flaming eyeball, a hero without any limbs, and a frog-like fly named Murfy all exist in the same level. Only the certainty of craftsmanship holds the game together, a certainty that provides the keystone upon which the rest of the chaos is built. Rayman Legends deconstructs the platforming formula down to its simplest, most joyful form, and most everyone will enjoy playing it."
