An Oddessey on the RTS

Leon from DJ Podcasts writes "The Real Time Strategy is a strange beast of a genre, I suspect it always will be. Theres something about it which can really work for some, not for others. They on a whole, challenge people to think in a very different way. The very best of the genre plays with this wonderfully, the lesser titles dance with them, to a different beat. Though I might have started after titles like Dune 2000 and Command and Conquer were released, this is a field I have enjoyed for a long time. I suspect I will enjoy it for many years to come."

| Until Dawn Review [Capsule Computers]
Added: 28.08.2015 9:18 | 18 views | 0 comments
Nathan from Capsule Computers writes:
Until Dawn began life as a PlayStation Move exclusive title for the PS3, first announced in mid-2012. Fast forward to August 2015 and Until Dawn has finally released, exclusively for Sonys next-gen console. The game promises a teen-slasher story that will change based on player choices, similar to other PlayStation exclusive hits such as Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. Featuring a recognisable cast of actors, motion capture use for animation and a classic horror narrative, does Until Dawn manage to join those two games in the Sony exclusive story game hall of fame, or will the game be forgotten by the time the night is over? Read on for our spoiler free review."

| Review: Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls | Rely on Horror
Added: 26.08.2015 19:18 | 10 views | 0 comments
Rely on Horror, M. Allen writes: "Spinoff games can be a tricky beast to tame, especially when theyre spun off of series as fundamentally simple as Spike-Chunsofts Danganronpa franchise of visual novels thatve been making a splash in the West in recent years. Its no secret that we love Danganronpa here at Rely on Horror (the second game even achieved a perfect 10/10 score from us and was my personal game of the year for 2014), but nevertheless I approached the latest entry, Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls with trepidation, as it was such a departure from what made the series so amazingly memorable to begin with. Im happy to report that my fears were almost entirely unfounded, as Ultra Despair Girls is not only a great new venture for the franchise, but also a fantastic game in its own right."

| Early Access Preview: Zombie Playground | Rely on Horror

Rely on Horror, CJ Melendez writes: "Some of you might be like me and enjoy your fair share of grim and serious zombie fiction, where theres some gritty drama between rival human groups, loads of extreme violence, and lots of gore. But other times you might want to look at some bright colors and feel a bit more upbeat, right. Cartoons were fun, remember? Theres no reason for us to be so mature all the time! And zombie fiction can do with a little levity now and then. Enter Zombie Playground, a whimsical little Steam title where kids battle zombies. Thats the premise and its a simple yet effective one."

| This Mod Makes GTA Nearly Indistinguishable From Real Life
Added: 25.08.2015 21:48 | 7 views | 0 comments
A new mod has surfaced for GTA V to give the game a near photo-realistic look. No, it's not the much-anticipated iCEnhancer mod from Hayssam Keilany. It's called the Toddyhancer and it does the same thing that the iCEnhancer does: make GTA V nearly indistinguishable from real life.
