Dom from DarkZero writes - "The high octane action, unique combat mechanics and craziness of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance made it one of my favourite games of 2013, so its great to see Konami and Platinum Games show some love for the PC platform by bringing Raidens latest adventure to Steam. If, for whatever reason, you missed out on this crazy action title for consoles, then you really owe yourself to check out this solid PC port that comes with both DLC campaigns for added bonus."

Parallax Play: "The Metal Gear franchise has always been known best for its stealth action, smart enemy tactics, deep storyline and incredible cinematic value that rivals blockbuster pictures. So, you would imagine that putting this solid formula of cunning sneakiness in a genre of game that is renowned for its crazy sense of physics and over the top action would jeopardize the Metal Gears image. Earliest trailers released demonstrating the use of slicing enemies as well as the creative dynamic use of precision attacks and Blade Mode. Despite anticipation from trailers alone, Hideo Kojima cancelled the project and eventually handed over the project to Platinum Games, developers of Bayonetta and Vanquish. With this new concept, Rising was sure to be an interesting release compared to its predecessors."

Jesse writes "If you have played Metal Gear Solid 4 and when you saw Cyborg Ninja Raiden and thought that was really cool well Metal Gear Rising is basically a whole game devoted to that idea. Metal Gear Rising is a fast paced action game with tons of slicing and dicing."

From Strategyinformer.com: "For many PC Gamers, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance marks a welcome return for Konami's popular franchise to the PC. But just as significantly it also marks the PC debut of Platinum Games, whose lunatic brilliance shone in titles like Godhand and Bayonetta.
So how does Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance stack up to those titles, while shouldering the weight of the cumbersome Metal Gear Franchise? In fact it stacks up rather well indeed, the excess and style of Platinum Games' creative vision is a good fit for the Hollywood-meets-anime styling of Metal Gear and returning hero Raiden has long since graduated from the effete disappointment of Metal Gear Solid 2, having since transformed into a ludicrously growly voiced cyborg ninja. Thanks to his range of swords and free-running ability he is actually fun to control. In a break from Metal Gear tradition, where characters usually perform amazing feats of physical endurance and strength in cut-scenes before reve...

Garet of RGN writes, "Metal Gear Rising Revengeance first appeared on consoles over a year ago, but has finally arrived for PC. It now plays in 60 FPS and 1080P, that is if your rig can handle that. Although, I do highly recommended playing this game with a controller instead of a keyboard and mouse because the way the control mechanics work, it is difficult to play with keys. This is definitely a great game, but it does still have some of the flaws that the console versions have. With that said, it is still an amazing game to freshen things up for the PC gaming community."
