Shadowrun: Hong Kong - PC Review | Chalgyr's Game Room

Added: 16.09.2015 22:17 | 56 views | 0 comments

Chalgyr's Game Room writes: With anxiety bubbling up in the pit of your stomach you step off the rickety, lean-to ferry into the faint light of Hong Kong. Your companions await you at the dock, socked to the bone by the near-constant drizzle and obscured by the sickly grey-green smog that washes over the lower quarters of Hong Kong. As you make your first step out onto the dock your stomach lurches, upset by the refuse of Hong Kong's seedy underbelly and the "complimentary dinner" of instant noodles full of who-knows-what that tasted like it was well beyond its expiry date "Welcome to Hong Kong" you grumble to yourself as you move towards those waiting for you Welcome to Shadowrun: Hong Kong that is; a throwback to classic turn-based roleplaying games. Set in the same universe/timeline as the previous games, Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun: Dragonfall, Shadowrun: Hong Kong leaves its wildly successful Kickstarter and Early Access campaign and strikes out with more vigor than a...

Review - Xeodrifter | Use A Potion

Added: 16.09.2015 22:17 | 32 views | 0 comments

"Whilst Xeodrifter first made its appearance last year, its not until its arrival on Playstation platforms that Ive even heard of it, let alone play it. Id been missing out on a real indie gem. I wont pretend its perfect; the lacking variety in boss design and the fake sense of freedom let it down slightly. You can look past all that easily though when you consider that all of Xeodrifters pros outweigh the cons; youve got the great retro style visuals, enjoyable level designs offering plenty of exploration, robust weapon customisation with plenty of different enemies to kill and one of the best chip tune soundtracks Ive heard in a long time. Youll get through the game quite quickly, but its something youll find yourself visiting time and time again. I think its time Renegade Kid get working on a sequel"

Super Mario Maker is an easy to use erector set of endless fun that any age can pick up and enjoy, but its more than just a stage builder. Its a 30th anniversary celebration of one of the most recognizable icons in gaming history, and the game conveys that message quite well.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Review Its All About The Base | LzyGmrs

Added: 16.09.2015 19:20 | 71 views | 0 comments

Jamie from LzyGmrs writes : "As always, those new to the series might have a hard time understanding the back story of Metal Gear Solid, it's overly complex plot involving, politics, war, hypocrisy, and cleavage, leaving some scratching their heads. The Phantom Pain has an ample supply of all that, but toned back following criticism from the community on its particularly heavy delivery. Instead there's a more balanced mix that hangs on the edge of being serious and comically outrageous. You see this throughout, from inflatable soldiers used as decoys, horses pooping on command, to a more satisfying use of the good ol' cardboard box, the fun is there but doesn't trample over the dark serious nature of the game."
