The title is developed by Kojima Productions and published by Konami. In Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, players play as Snake, or Big Boss as he is referred to by his team, as he takes on mercenary missions while also investigating the organisation Cipher, the group responsible for almost killing him 9 years earlier (in Ground Zeroes). The game is largely story based, but has way more gameplay content than youd expect. As an emotional tale with gripping gameplay, this might be a game youd want to pick up. Taking it at face value and stripping back all the problems, the game does achieve what it sets out to do, and thats to unnerve the player. Having said that when you are sat in the darkness with a set of headphones plugged in, as is encouraged by the games menu, thats not a magnificent feat. What should define it is how it goes about playing with your anxieties and what sets it apart from other titles of this genre, such as the classic Slenderman. I Cant Escape: Darkness has a lot of things going for it, but unfortunately they are not pushed to its full potential."

Fairy Fencer F is kind of a unique experience among JRPGs. It throws a tremendous amount of stuff at the wall, and most of it actually winds up sticking pretty well. It's a game where you can release an ancient evil god for special powers, accumulate sword spirits like crazy, have to pay an info broker repeatedly to progress in the story, and where the hero really doesn't want to do anything he doesn't have to.
