Super Mario Maker Review | Gametrailers

Added: 11.09.2015 15:17 | 9 views | 0 comments

Gametrailers: After 30 years of perfecting the art of the side-scrolling Mario level, Nintendo is handing off development duties to their fans. Super Mario Maker gives you a vast toolbox to construct your very own trips of death-defying magic, and lets you stream through an endless collection of creations built by an already robust community. Its informative, funny, and often excruciatingly difficult, but can it compare to the full-priced Mario games youre used to?

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Review | WGTC

WGTC: Even at the age of seven, I knew I had stumbled onto something special. Like most kids at a young age, I never found myself in a position to have any say on what direction video games would take in our house. With an older brother who also played games, and a father who did some of his own scouting, I was often left at the mercy of other peoples decisions when it came to what games and consoles we would buy.

BG: I first played Metal Gear Solid on my PS1 in the late 90s and remember instantly falling in love with this stealth based espionage game, the storyline was different, slightly odd but a groundbreaking masterpiece that has grown in popularity. Its one of those legendary cult series that has spanned nearly twenty years over multiple generations of gaming console.

Lara Croft GO Review | GamingLives

Added: 11.09.2015 13:17 | 80 views | 0 comments

GamingLives takes a look at Square Enix's latest 'GO' endeavour, featuring Lara Croft. "Perhaps the greatest challenge in Lara Croft GO is how it can, at times, fool you into thinking that youre making some pretty smart moves until suddenly youre killed by flying darts from a wall trap, triggered by a snake darting backwards in fear from your flaming torch. How could I not see that coming?! was uttered many times during my playthrough, and each time it was coupled with a wry smile as I attempted to re-trace my steps until the point where the bad decision was made."

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser Review | IGN

Added: 11.09.2015 13:17 | 5 views | 0 comments

IGN: The idea behind Trespasser is to provide closure for the Dragon Age: Inquisition saga after the big event that takes place at the end of the main game, and for the most part it does so successfully. In some ways, its modest. This final seven hours of story DLC doesnt offer exciting loot to collect or huge environments to explore, but the story and combat left me feeling satisfied with the way things turned out for my Inquisitor and her merry band of adventures.

Pillars of Eternity: The White March Part 1 Review | Gamespot

Added: 11.09.2015 13:17 | 7 views | 0 comments

Gamspot: With the first part of the White March expansion for Pillars of Eternity, Obsidian Entertainment has a chance to expand upon one of the best RPGs around. Unfortunately, these new adventures are almost indistinguishable from the questing and killing on offer in the main game. This isnt entirely a bad thing given the game's superb foundation, but while I enjoyed most of my time in this snow-draped environment, something was missing. The setting was new, but I felt like I was finishing off leftover side quests that didn't make the cut the first time around. The saying "been there, done that" came to mind.
