Destiny: The Taken King Review (The Outerhaven)
Added: 20.09.2015 9:17 | 57 views | 0 comments
Jason writes: When Destiny was launched a year ago, the reception was, wellmixed. Its moment to moment gunplay was and remains its greatest asset. Everything we expected from a decade of playing Halo along with a suite of abilities fueled by space magic. Where the game faltered, however, was trying to be an RPG and a persistent world. First-person shooters usually have campaigns that last a few hours and then proceed to sustain players with competitive multiplayer. In Destiny, however, while there is PVP gameplay, the meat of the game was clearly meant to lie in PVE. For a year, the game has maintained a large following, but lackluster mission design, frustrating progression systems, and a clear lack of story content (or content period) turned many off.

IGN:
A few difficulty spikes threaten to spoil the colorful, effervescent fun in Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetimes frantic cooperative 2D-shooter action, but its novel core emphasis on relying on coordination with another player or an AI partner to overcome such challenges is usually strong enough to overcome the occasional frustration. As a bonus, diverse level design and multiple fun powerups help maintain variety.

| Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson Review I Hey Poor Player
Added: 20.09.2015 7:17 | 80 views | 0 comments
Hey Poor Player's Kenny McKee writes - "The path of the shinobi can be a trying one, and is certainly not a journey that many see through to the very end. Day in and day out, shinobi must train in order to keep their skills sharp, and their strength up. Shinobi must willingly carry out missions that have been given to them, regardless of personal opinion. They are shadow warriors and need not be seen or heard by anyone as they strike their target and, in one fell swoop, completely disrobe them. Okay, youve got me; that last bit about disrobing people is not a normal shinobi duty. Most people do not really see ninja and stripping going hand-in-hand. That is not to say that the two have not co-existed, however. I present to you the Senran Kagura series and, more importantly, Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson for the Nintendo 3DS!"

| Shadowrun: Hong Kong Review | Gamespot
Added: 20.09.2015 1:17 | 87 views | 0 comments
Gamespot:
Shadowrun, as a universe, is already a great marriage of two very separate, very Western fantasy scenarios; one part DD-inspired elves-and-dwarves witchcraft and wizardry, one part William Gibson-brand gritty, street-level cyberpunk. The series has done a fantastic job exploring both of these aspects through several games now, but with Shadowrun: Hong Kong, the series adopts an Eastern flavor, incorporating a classic facet of the cyberpunk genre for the first time in its nearly 30 year tenure.
