MonsterVine: "Disney Infinity 3.0 is as much of a video game as it is a giant playground. Through the combination of physical figures and the ridiculously expansive Toybox, Disney Infinity 3.0 aims to make the enormous universe of Star Wars an accessible and customizable experience in a way that no game has before."

| Madden 16 Review - Dual Pixels

Dual Pixels: "NFLs regular season starts today and that means youve probably wondered if you should buy the next Madden or wait until it goes on sale. Usually, Im in that same boat! I wait until theres at least a $25-$30 price drop, but this years offering is different. The Madden franchise often gets criticized for being a roster update, and rightfully so. Pumping out a game a year doesnt leave for much time to reinvent the wheel, or in the case of the franchise any meaningful changes at all. But, Madden 2016 is different. Sure there are still some major annoyances that havent been hammered out in, well, forever. But, the positives of Madden 2016 far outweigh the negatives."

| Mad Max Review | Good Game

The biggest problem with Mad Max is that things start to feel a little repetitive towards the end, but even so, it's a blast harpooning your way around the desert. And it's great to have an Aussie voiced lead in a game, and many other characters in the game with Aussie accents as well. Feels like home.

TSA:
The Phantom Pain makes a major departure from the gameplay of the earlier home console games, but its brilliant for it. The story loses its momentum half-way through and the boss fights can fall flat, but those are minor points compared to the outstanding open world that has been created for you to play in and the freedom to do so.

MNJ:
I am a huge fan of the Metal Gear series and desperately wanted to love Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain but I have to admit to being turned off by the whole affair. The first five hours of gameplay were great, exploring the open world and building Mother Base was thrilling, but after that, it grew tiresome and became a grind. Performance issues with the frame rate kept pulling me out of the moment and long lasting server issues mean I have been unable to play the multiplayer at all. I had hoped that Hideo Kojimas final Metal Gear game would wrap up the franchise nicely but instead we have a disjointed and unfinished plot. With only three real boss battles, most of the gameplay comes down to a formulaic method of approach, survey, shoot. And that just isnt Metal Gear to me. The franchise ends, not with a bang, but a whimper, and that might just be the saddest piece of gaming news I have ever heard.

| Style Over Substance | Calvino Noir Review (New Gamer Nation)
Added: 10.09.2015 15:17 | 13 views | 0 comments
Calvino Noir is a side-scrolling stealth game that clearly draws a wealth of inspiration from noire spy thrillers of yesteryear. The well-written dialogue, striking black and white art design and the espionage story paint a beautiful homage to those tales that clearly inspired it. Unfortunately the great presentation isnt able to save it and it is in the actual playing of the game where it sadly stumbles, the weak and frustrating stealth mechanics, one shot deaths and unpredictable enemy awareness plague Calvino Noir and restrict it from living up to its better parts.
