Added: 08.09.2015 8:17 | 41 views | 0 comments

Ever since emerging onto the scene way back in the 70s, Racing games have successfully resonated with fans as an ever-evolving genre fueled by innovation, acceleration, and excitement. No matter how complex or difficult everyday life may be, these types of gameplay experiences always brought out the competitive spirit in people and served as the perfect distraction from the norm. In May of 2005, Turn 10 Studios contributed to this movement by introducing us all to Forza Motorsport, an ambitious racing game simulator that exceeded expectations and became a critically acclaimed franchise for the Xbox brand. Now in its tenth anniversary year as a series, the latest entry is nothing short of marvelous and is destined to drive a lot of Xbox One Elite Controller and console sales this fall. Simply put, Forza Motorsport 6 leaves a historical imprint on the genre and convincingly takes the crown as the undisputed champion of racing games.

Forza Motorsport 6 Review - ThisGenGaming

ThisGenGaming says "Forza Motorsport 6 is all about making things right after Forza Motorsport 5 was disappointment to many fans. The use of popular features in Forza Horizon 2 to make Forza 6 feel fresh was a great idea that also finally gave us the much wanted rain/night tracks that weve asked for many year. Although limited its still great to have it. I feel like Forza 6 is taking the right steps towards bringing the Motorsport series back to the glory days of the Xbox 360, and with Forza 6 its almost surpassing those days."

Forza Motorsport 6 Review | Entertainment Buddha

EB: Graphically, Forza 5 looked decidedly better than its Xbox 360 ancestors, and its driving was fine-tuned and fun. Forza 6 does nothing but refine what was already great, and makes large strides towards addressing what wasnt. From the menus to the drivatars, from the career mode to the hundreds of available cars unlocked from the start, just about everything is better this time around. Even without touching the 70+ hours of the core career mode, Forza 6s multiplayer suite and quick races offer endless driving entertainment and so far, the best of what this generation has offered to the genre.

Mad Max Review | WGTC

Added: 08.09.2015 7:17 | 9 views | 0 comments

WGTC: Avalanche Studios takes the kitchen sink approach with Mad Max in the latest of its open-world video game endeavors. A desert hellscape that feels larger and more menacing than Australias outback? You got it. Extensive character unlocks and vehicle upgrades? Throw em in. Races to partake in, camps to assault, convoys to clear, and other errands to run? Consider it done. The result is a Mad Max facsimile chock-full of activities to do and locations to tour, but the dozens of hours spent in this wasteland lack the staying power of Avalanches previous efforts.

Until Dawn is an excellent addition to any horror fan's PlayStation 4 collection, even if borrowed or rented, youll still be satisfied with a single 9-10 hour playthrough, but the seeming unending paths towards terror, gore, death and salvation will keep you coming back to see if you can survive another night until dawn.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is the 3rd game in the toys-to-life genre to come out in as many years. While 2.0's The Avengers play set that was included in the starter set was a disappointment, there was hope that with 3.0's addition of Star Wars would not repeat the mistakes of 2.0. Is the Force strong with this game or has it turned to the Dark Side? Check out our review and find out how you can win our Disney Infinity 3.0 prize pack.

Runbow Review | Hardcore Gamer

Added: 08.09.2015 2:20 | 24 views | 0 comments

For all the increased emphasis on interconnected worlds and complex online interactions in games these days, theres been a fascinating renaissance of local multiplayer games that ask you to unplug completely and gather your buddies around the same screen. For every Watch Dogs, theres another TowerFall: Ascension, Samurai Gunn or Sportsfriends popping up in its place. These games are chaotic and raw, leaving players screaming and laughing and crying fowl at their friends in ways that just cant happen online. Runbow is that kind of game, supporting up to nine players, and whether or not you should give it a look is entirely contingent on whether or not you have a stable of friends to assemble on your couch every week to play.
