This past week, the fifth installment to the Ultimate Ninja Storm series was released upon the world. While aesthetically similar to previous installments which is alright with me as the art style perfectly imitates the anime Revolution strives to up the ante in several different ways, most of which are successful.

Avoiderdragon : Masashi Kishimotos popular manga and anime franchise has been around for 15 years now and has been a part of childhoods of millennial anime fans, just like how Dragon Ball Z was during the 90s. Games for it has been made since 2003, so it has been well over a decade since the franchise had entered the gaming market. It did get some measure of popularity, which is why we now have a new one in 2014.

Robert from We Got This Covered wrote: Upon starting the story mode of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, titled Ninja Escapades, players are greeted with a message oddly reminding us that at certain points in the game we will have to, you know, pick up a controller and do some fighting. Theres a reason for that, too; the duration of the short story mode contains more dialogue and cutscenes than gameplay by an extremely wide margin. For Naruto fans this is probably something to welcome, considering that this mode is the equivalent of playing three episodes of the show. If youre unfamiliar with the brand, however, then youre probably going to feel lost. I know I did, but despite that, I actually had a good time playing Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.

Dominic Sheard: "It looks like Bandai Namco was happy with the sale results after trying the waters with a PC release of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst, which to my account was the first big anime licensed title to hit Steam. It looks like the company isnt stopping there with its properties, as Dragon Ball Xenoverse was recently confirmed to be heading to PC through Valves Steam platform, but I am getting ahead of myself, since thats the future for anime games on Steam.  Currently, the latest game staring the orange and black suited Ninja has just arrived, but is Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution really a revolutionary entry in the franchises long running history or is it simply the next logical step to take the series in? Put on your Hidden Leaf headband and lets find out."
