Weapon Shop de Omasse Review (Invision Game Community)
Added: 27.02.2014 7:15 | 14 views | 0 comments
Weapon Shop de Omasse is a game developed and published by Level-5, a company well known for their Dark Cloud games back in 2000 and more recently their White Knight Chronicles Series and Ni No Kuni releases. Weapon Shop de Omasse was first released in Japan back in November 2012 and took until February 2014 to be brought to the English speakers of the world. In its simplest, Weapon Shop is a Fantasy Rhythm game with some slight shop management simulation thrown in, but is it worth the purchase?

| Radiohammer Review: "The Rhythm is Gonna Smash You in the Face with a Hammer" | Hardcore Droid
Added: 11.02.2014 3:16 | 6 views | 0 comments
It must be tough to make a truly engaging rhythm game as theyre essentially elaborate versions of Simon. The simplicity of their mechanics hides beneath flashy graphics and scenarios that provide some context, but if none of that does it for you, a games only other recourse is to have awesome music. Radiohammer gets it partially right. Its challenging gameplay is delivered through absurd concepts and a polished art style. Unfortunately, the concepts are limited, the challenge becomes beyond punishing, and the music is unmemorable.

| Keep the Beat, Feel the Rhythm in BeatBlasters III
Added: 03.02.2014 0:16 | 15 views | 0 comments
Hardcore Gamer: Despite my truest love of rock and metal, electronic music is currently a huge interest for me. Not just the modern stuff like Pendulum or Knife Party, but those older electronic artists like The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers and (as you can probably tell from my profile avatar) Aphex Twin. These artists, like many electronica artists, use the beat to make their music exciting. You cant dance to something without a beat to follow. BeatBlasters III takes that idea one step further and says that you cant fight without a beat. While that sounds intimidating, Chainsawesome Games have built an entire game around beatcentric electronic rhythm. Its ironic that BeatBlasters IIIs objective is to take out an oppressive butcher, because the design in BeatBlasters III does more to tie you down and hold you back than let you break free and party.
