Its Madden season: Madden NFL 16 review | Vic B'Stard's State of Play

Added: 30.08.2015 8:17 | 56 views | 0 comments

Vic B'Stard writes: "Madden NFL 16 is EA Sports second game released for the 2016 season, following the Frostbite Engine-driven Rory McIlroy PGA Tour. For this years Madden we are back with EAs proprietary game engine, Ignite, for what is the best-looking sports game Ive ever played. If the visuals in Madden are anything to go by sports fans have a lot to look forward to with this years FIFA, NHL and NBA Live games. Whilst we would all like to see the release of a decent rugby game, lets face it, its unlikely to happen anytime soon. Games that should have had sequels (Part 3)

Added: 29.08.2015 3:18 | 13 views | 0 comments

Chalgyr's Game Room writes: Over the last couple of days, we have had a couple of the members of the team submit their list of games that they wish had gotten sequels. To cap off the week, I thought I would go ahead and share my own list of titles that I really would have liked to see live on just a bit longer. Heavenly Sword This was one of my first PlayStation 3 games when I purchased my system, and I absolutely loved it. Was the game flawed? Certainly, but it was also a lot of fun. The visuals were excellent, the combat was engaging. Sure, it felt like a God of War clone, but a lot of other titles have tried to mimic the popular God of War series and few of them did it as well as Heavenly Sword did. Add in a handful of extras and an excellent voice cast, and this was one that I always hoped we would see a sequel to, but never received.
