RPG Maker 2003 - PC Review | Chalgyr's Game Room

Added: 28.05.2015 19:16 | 2 views | 0 comments

Chalgyr's Game Room writes: RPG Maker 2003 is a much older version of the software that has only just recently been translated and localized. In the years since many have seen and used the later versions of XP, VX, and VX Ace. I have personally spent hours upon hours trying to make even the tiniest of games and there is always this wall that comes up blocking further progress. This was generally due to either a lack of more ideas or complete hard drive crashes and the loss of data. Though with the availability of massive, cost-effective hard drives, the latter has not been much of a problem these last few years. So when someone honestly says oh you just made that using RPG Maker they generally have no real idea of how much time and effort still needs to go into making such a project. The time building the environments, the time scripting events and cutscenes, and the time getting combat just right to not have it too easy, too hard, or just plain boring. All of this is even...

PTs not dead yet: How Allison Road is keeping the nightmare alive

Added: 28.05.2015 12:16 | 2 views | 0 comments

GR: "PT gets forcibly disappeared, Silent Hills gets cancelled - Allison Road is either a deeply lucky or unlucky game, depending on how you look at it. A photo-realistic, first-person horror experience (currently planned for release on PC in 2016, with console versions almost certain), it was conceived of and started just two weeks after the release of the Kojima-del Toro teaser/most terrifying game of all time. Suddenly, however, its unwittingly shifted from an homage to a spiritual successor in a single, sickening Konami PR calamity. As scared as I am of playing it, Im very glad Allison Road exists."

Guitar Hero Live Adds More Songs

Added: 27.05.2015 0:00 | 17 views | 0 comments

The lineup for Guitar Hero Live continues to grow, and Activision has revealed the next batch of songs for its weekly "Tracklist Tuesday" feature.

Some unconventional artists such as Skrillex make appearances in Guitar Hero Live, but the 10 songs announced today stick closely to the rock and metal genres. They include: "Love Bites (So Do I)" — Halestorm "Tribute" — Tenacious D "I Have A Problem" — Beartooth "Mind Your Manners" — Pearl Jam "Tragedy + Time" — Rise Against "Been Away Too Long"— Soundgarden "Got the Time" — Anthrax "Gravedigger" — Architects "The Clincher" — Chevelle "Right Back At It Again" — A Day to Remember
I recognize names like Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, but those appear to be more recent songs. Oh well, I guess I played enough "Evenflow" in Rock Band 2.
