Over the last couple of days, we have had a couple of the members of the team submit their list of games that they wish had gotten sequels. To cap off the week, I thought I would go ahead and share my own list of titles that I really would have liked to see live on just a bit longer.
Heavenly Sword
This was one of my first PlayStation 3 games when I purchased my system, and I absolutely loved it. Was the game flawed? Certainly, but it was also a lot of fun. The visuals were excellent, the combat was engaging. Sure, it felt like a God of War clone, but a lot of other titles have tried to mimic the popular God of War series and few of them did it as well as Heavenly Sword did. Add in a handful of extras and an excellent voice cast, and this was one that I always hoped we would see a sequel to, but never received.

Im going to start off my first title on this list which also happens to be one of my favorite games of all time. Its one of two on this list that fits that bill alongside Breath of Fire III, Shovel Knight and more. Without further blabbering on my part, here are my Top 5 games that should have had sequels - but didn't!
Rogue Galaxy
Rogue Galaxy is an action RPG developed by Level-5 and was published by Sony in NA a little less than a decade ago. One thing to mention right now is that fans of Star Wars will feel right at home with this game as it has many parallels to the epic space opera. Being a Star Wars fan myself, I had no issues with it.

Dear UK Games Industry,
We have been lying to you, and we have had enough.
Last week, the No.1 game in the UK charts was not the most popular game.
The Chinese Room should have been celebrating its first No.1 with Everybodys Gone To The Rapture. Just as this week, indie developer Mike Bithell should also have had a Top Ten game (at least) with his PC and PS4 title, Volume.
Thats not what our chart says. That is not how the history books will read. These new IPs by two British independents are missing out on the recognition they definitely deserve
