GA:
When it was announced that Dead Or Alive 5 was coming to Next Gen, I expected a huge change from the previously released titles. After all, DOA 5 Plus for the Vita and DOA 5 Ultimate for the Xbox 360 and PS3 really expanded over the original. This time however, there isn't really that much to get excited about, and has left me questioning this release.

PSGamer: Dead or Alive 5 is back for one last bite of the cherry with Last Round. The series has had its up and downs over its 5 game history (including 3 previous versions of Dead or Alive 5 and a hand full of spin-offs) but Last Round is a high point for the series, even with its inherent flaws.

| Game Review: The Order: 1886 | Starburst Magazine

Welcome ladies and gentlemen, to the best movie on the PlayStation 4. With three hours of gameplay and two hours of cutscenes, The Order: 1886 proves how outstanding next-gen visuals can be while wasting every last shred of potential on offer.
Set in an alternate history universe, the game follows the steampunk nigh-immortal Knights of the Round table as they face down hordes of werewolves. Backed by a young Nikoli Tesla, the Order soon faces rebellions from the downtrodden lower class lacking their protection, forcing them to fight the very ones they swore to protect.

AOTF:
Ready At Dawn came out of nowhere with the announcement of The Order: 1886 during E3 2013, a title in development for over three years prior. The studio, which previously worked on several PSP titles and had their hand in making the God Of War Collection on PlayStation 3, finally has their first original IP. Being the first major PlayStation 4 exclusive of 2015 had no small hand in the amount of hype that was behind The Order: 1886, but it still manages to live up to the hype. Just as long as you can forgive some of the titles shortcomings, and arent looking for a particularly deep game to sink weeks of time into.
The Order: 1886 tells the story of the Knights Of The Round Table, and their journey in an alternate history that has them face off against lycans and the rebels who appear to be helping them. After centuries of battle, the Knights Of The Round Table look to finally gain the upper hand. The Industrial Revolution is in full swing, bringing about new weaponry and...

| Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Review | AOTF

AOTF:
The original Dead or Alive 5 is now nearly two and a half years old. In that time, both a portable version and a new console version have been released, each with a few new upgrades. Attempting a second console re-release from the same game in the series for the first time, Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo have released Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, but this time the series jumps to current-gen consoles for the first time with the most fluid and smooth gameplay in the series yet.
As merely an upgrade to Dead or Alive 5 and Ultimate, rather than a full remake like the recent Majoras Mask 3D, Last Round is not going to offer any earth-shattering content for those who have played the previous releases. However, this is also the first time that the DOA series have made the leap to the current consoles, and Team Ninja executed this transition exceptionally well. The visuals in the original were certainly good, but they look absolutely gorgeous in this new version. It obviously wont m...
