Geoff and Ryan come up with a 100% original idea to test a map before they use it in a video! In no way is this stealing the show idea Kdin, Jeremy, Lindsay and Matt's had called "Let's Test", this is a completely new idea called "TESTING!" ...totally different.

| Sony says more remasters are coming to PS4? Heres what we want
Added: 10.08.2015 16:20 | 9 views | 0 comments
"I think it has to be a great game if youre going to go to the trouble of re-mastering. I cant talk specifically, but I think its very likely therell be more of this sort of thing."
That's what PlayStation Europe president Jim Ryan said while discussing the likelihood of additional Playstation 3 games being remastered for the PlayStation 4 in the future. Massive titles from the PS3 era have already been done, such as God of War III, Journey, The Last of Us, and soon to be the Uncharted collection. Yet, like it or not, Ryan claims more are undoubtedly on their way. Which games from the era deserve to be remastered?

| A musicologist's look at 'Final Fantasy VI'

Classical MPR: "I met Ryan Thompson shortly after Top Score began in 2011. At the time, Ryan lived in the Twin Cities. He's a PhD candidate in musicology at the University of Minnesota, with a special interest in ludomusicology.
If you're unaware what that last word means, you're not alone. Ludomusicology is a growing field in which musicologists study the impact of music in video games. When I first met Ryan, he'd been working on a paper about the opera scene in Final Fantasy VI.
Final Fantasy VI came out in 1994, and I was not a gamer in 1994. I had no idea the opera existed until I met Ryan. I invited him to come to the studios here at MPR to talk about the unusual musical event (for a video game), and learned a great deal about how the opera mirrors the plot of the entire game."
