Sacred 3 (PlayStation 3) Review - Push Square

Push Square: "Sacred 3 is likely to be a huge let down for fans of the series. By ditching the open world quest structure and loot system, this sequel has been robbed of the experience that franchise evangelists fell in love with. That said, if you put aside the initial disappointment to consider what the game actually is, youll find a decent action RPG, which offers a great co-op experience to boot. While the enjoyable combat isnt enough to overcome the linear stages and shallow systems, it will keep you engaged long enough to put a stop to Zanes plans of world domination even if you only do it once."

GamerBolt: "Those that are seeking a more freeing RPG experience will be let down of course, due to the games linear nature and short campaign."

Sacred 3 takes players back into the fantasy realms of Ancaria, where they will need to band together in the hope of vanquishing the deadly tides of evil.
The game features classic arcade Hack 'n' Slash action centered around drop in, drop out cooperative multiplayer for both offline (2 players) and online (4 players) play. It brings back fan-favourite characters such as the Seraphim, Ancarian, Khukuhru and the Safiri, as well as introduces a new character, Malakhim. Each character class features its own unique skills and weapons which can be upgraded to match the player's very own combat style. As they master the art of war, players will fight their way through enemy hordes and try to outshine their fellow companions on their way to become the greatest hero of all. The inclusion of mission stats and online leaderboards will continue to drive competition both locally and online.
