Saints Row IV: Re-Elected Gat Out Of Hell review damned good? | Metro

Added: 21.01.2015 13:10 | 4 views | 0 comments

Metro: "The next gen consoles get a remastered version of Saints Row IV and a new expansion, but is sending Johnny Gat to hell really a good idea? Reviewing video games is not as easy as it looks. Pointing out whether they work or not is pretty straightforward, as well as whether the graphics are technically competent or not, and what the basic plot is. But everything else is subjective, and so when we accuse a game of having overly simplistic gameplay or not being anywhere near as funny as it thinks it is that is literally just our opinion. We can seek to justify and explain our point of view, but at the same time were always keenly aware that other people will just not see it the same way."

Saints Row IV: Gat out of Hell Review | Gamespot

Gamespot: "Saints Row developer Volition loves Johnny Gat. Saints Row fans, in general, like Johnny, but Volition loves that psychopath, and it's been trying to share the love for three games now, only to have him overshadowed by the gang of puckish rogues we know today. In that way, Gat Out of Hell was almost a foregone conclusion. Johnny was always going to get his time in the solo spotlight and all Volition needed was a good excuse to get that band of rogues we've come to love so well over the last three Saints Row games out of the way so it could happen."

Saints Row IV Re-Elected Review - TXH

Neil writes "It has to be said, Im a bit of a Saints Row fan. Having played each and every one through to a conclusion since the Saints first hit our Xbox 360 consoles back in 2006, Ive gone on to experience their antics more than once with Saints Row 2, Saints Row: The Third and indeed Saints Row IV. But now, for the first time the Saints are in glorious full HD having made the journey to the new gen with Saints Row IV: Re-Elected. Has the jump been a worthy one?"

Travis Bruno of Capsule Computers writes: " Volition and Deep Silver have gone to space and taken on aliens, now where could they go now you ask? To hell of course. Or at least a few of them will as Saints Row: Gat out of Hell pits players against the forces of Hell in order to save a friend. Is the unique experience of visiting hell in one of the most ridiculous game series worth picking up? Lets find out."
