Game of the Month: The Best PlayStation Games of June 2015
Added: 07.07.2015 19:15 | 5 views | 0 comments
Push Square: "Wow, and we thought that May was a weak month. To be fair, the rules of Game of the Month state that we can't include re-releases of any kind that have appeared on a PlayStation console in the past, so the likes of the great Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition missed out on a chance at victory by default. Plus, with us still badgering away on our review of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, that avoided making the cut, too. Still, June was pretty lacking when it came to big new releases, but nevertheless, we eventually managed to scrape together a somewhat decent list of wannabe winners. Bet you can't guess what took our coveted Platinum Trophy, though."

Some say it all started with the horse armor.
When Bethesda SoftWorks released The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for the Xbox 360, gamers had an option to pay a whopping $3 for horse armor. This horse armor didnt really do anything to protect your horse. It was just a skin that you could buy if you were feeling generous and wanted to give more money to the developers. There was quite the outcry at the time; especially since that same horse armor was free in the PC version of the game.

Mick Fraser: "As an RPG its solid but uninspired, as an MMO its big and involving but a little dull and empty. As the two combined, its an epic adventure hamstrung by the inclusion of other people, lacklustre quest design and a sense that youre just a little cog in a great big machine that would happily spin on if you simply fell out of it. Something so vast and ambitious was always going to struggle to tick all the boxes, but Tamriel Unlimited does the best it can as a predominantly single player game within an MMO framework. For some, that alone will be more than enough."
