Travis Bruno of Capsule Computers writes:
"When The Elder Scrolls Online was first released back in 2014 Zenimax Online stated that an eventual console release was on the way. Despite receiving a fairly lukewarm reaction upon release, many console players were still eagerly awaiting the title. Then over a year later with numerous changes to the games formula, the removal of a subscription fee, and a tiny name adjustment The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited has been released on consoles. As someone who never touched the original release and is dove in headfirst into this console MMO, is The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited worth your time?"

| Todd Howard On Fallout 4s Quest Designs: Were Doing A Better Job Than Weve Ever Done

Todd Howard says he never stops thinking about the games he makes. When one Elder Scrolls or Fallout project ends, hes already planning the next. As VP of development at Bethesda Games Studios in Maryland, the place he has worked for over 20 years, he has a comparatively small team by todays standards just 100 staff. But they have produced two of the industrys most important and ambitious open-world franchises. And they seem to do this through a ceaseless sense of purpose. You dont ever stop talking, says Howard about the creative process. You never take a break.

| PushStartPlay Review: The Elders Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimted [PC/PS4/XboxOne]

Unlike previous (singleplayer) games in the series, The Elders Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited doesnt have a strong story to immerse yourself within. Set around 1000 years before the events of Skyrim, you will begin the game imprisoned in Coldharbor, an extra dimensional realm that is ruled by the Daedric Prince Molag Bal. He is hell-bent on merging Nirn and Oblivion, realms that possess evil perhaps more sinister then hell itself and Molag Bal intends on opening up the floodgates into Tamriel. So following your prison escape (a tradition within the series), it is up to you to make sure that hell is not unleashed. How you go about that of course is all down to you, as not only do specific stories differ depending on the race you choose (there are 9 races to choose from in character creation), Tamriel is a HUGE place full of quests, random events and very random behaviours from your fellow gaming folk that populate the MMORPG lands.
