One of the best games in the Dungeon Crawling Role-Playing Games genre has just been released for North America and Europe. This game is called Dungeon Travelers 2: The Royal Library the Monster Seal and it is a first person dungeon crawler and one lengthy, difficult experience. The game was bashed about by fans for Atlus censoring only four images throughout the entire game. Dungeon Travelers 2 takes place in the kingdom of Romulea and it is currently in a state of peril. Monsters have started showing up everywhere in the world and started revolting against humanity. As a player, you take control of Fried, an adventurer from the Royal Library who is sent out to stop the monsters. This sets up the main plot of Dungeon Travelers 2.

Could it be because the Motorola 68000 chip is easier to program for, and more widely used in gaming consoles/computers of the past? Could it be just a love of the platform? I am not sure but I am not complaining either. More games means there are more chances of a gem to be released. The Mojon Twins are known for quality releases on many platforms, surely Mega Cheril Perils will be no different. They had this really cool, pretty powerful console, but no real experience in launching such hardware to the gaming world. They did the only thing that they really could do at the time and that was promote the differences of their console versus those of the competition like the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis and even the Sega Saturn (depending on who you ask the 3DO and Atari Jaguar were either competition or not). The best way to promote the differences between the PSOne and everyone else was to push the 3D capabilities of the console, to the detriment of 2D content early on. One title that rocked the world of those that played it was Demolition Derby by Psygnosis (later to become a Sony subsidiary development team). Destroying cars in 3D was something that was only available on Playstation. Wreckfest is looking to bring back that fun, this time for Steam users."
