The Drop:
What defines a human mind? What defines an artificial one? And what horrors emerge when you push them both to the breaking point? This week, sci-fi horror game Soma launches on PS4. Dont close your eyes.
Fueled by real-world science and abstract philosophies, Soma drops players into a twisted labyrinth of unspeakable horrors, broken thoughts, and creatures of unnatural origin. For gamers that want the latest in first-person horror storytelling, look no further.
And for those that scare easily (present company included), try the innovative platforming challenges in Extreme Exorcism, or the old-school dungeon-crawling in Heroes of Loot. For a full look at this weeks lineup, read on. And enjoy the Drop!

| EA Survey Suggests It Might be Looking at a Netflix-Style Subscription Service for PC

Ever since Netflix came along and introduced video-on-demand for a competitive price, a good service (for the most part) and a huge library of titles to choose from, gamers across the globe have imaged the concept being applied to video game.
We've already seen it in some forms; OnLive, the now defunct game streaming service promised to offer a wealth of games for one monthly price while Sony is currently testing its own version with PS Now.
It looks like EA has seen the potential and may want a slice of that pie, at least according to a new survey published on behalf of the mega-publisher.

| What Does TGS 2015 Tell Us About PS4 in Japan?
Added: 21.09.2015 3:17 | 164 views | 0 comments
Push Square: "The PlayStation 4's been far from a flop in Japan since its launch last year, but it's failed to kick on in quite the way that we expected it to. The console's sold in fits and starts, with big releases like Dragon Quest Heroes and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain prompting numbers to increase only for them to shrink straight back down to the sorry status quo again. But platform holder Sony will be feeling confident this week, as all of the major Japanese publishers rally behind its box in an attempt to prolong the relevance of traditional gaming systems in the East."

| SuperPhillip Central: Super Mario Maker (Wii U) Review
Added: 20.09.2015 20:17 | 99 views | 0 comments
Phil writes,, "Super Mario Maker is the complete package, and I can't think of a better way to commemorate the Super Mario Bros. series's 30th anniversary. Offering a robust level creator utilizing a pain-free and intuitive interface, Super Mario Maker is the real deal. It is without a doubt one of the easiest level creators on the market, and it allowing players to create their dream Mario courses is just the icing on this delicious 30th anniversary cake. Some oversights in the ability to find good levels easily holds the game back some, but Super Mario Maker not only makes levels, but it makes the grade, too."
