Spike Chunsoft is continuing the Kenka Bancho series on Nintendo 3DS with Kenka Bancho 6: Soul Blood. This game is a beat em up with school life elements similar to the Persona series. The story begins at the school entrance ceremony and continues up to graduation. Players will study (if you want!), go surfing, work a part time job, play beach volleyball, and climb your way up the food chain to be the biggest badass in town.

, The Game Awards 2014 features an advisory board made up of executives from Nintendo, Ubisoft, Konami, PlayStation, Xbox, Electronic Arts, Warner Bros., Rockstar Games, and Valve.

The event is the brainchild of video game media veteran Geoff Keighley, who was also the producer of the Spike Video Game Awards, which were later rebranded VGX. Organizers of that show have not yet announced details for an awards show this year, though the event is historically held in December.

Another video game awards show, the D.I.C.E. Awards, will be held in February 2015.
