Matt Doria of BGU writes "Hello, and welcome to another edition of Press Start! In this glorious piece of textual fuckery, well take a look back at the past week in gaming news, and talk a little bit of shit inbetween. Its been an insane couple of weeks since the last time I checked in with you. Obviously, the biggest news to come since our last showcase is the fact that Tony Hawks Pro Skater 5 is no longer a dream, nor a sneaky tease. Its 100% real"

Have you ever played a game that made you have a quizzical sense of exploration while going through a classic sci-fi story? If you play Lifeless Planet that is exactly what you get. Lifeless Planet was designed by David Board, composed by Rich Douglas and developed by Stage 2 Studios and has been a prime example of how a dream that is shared can become a reality on a global platform. Regardless of how the game fares within the public eye, the simple fact that we as gamers even get to experience this shows just what can happen when you reach for your dreams and let nothing stand in your way of seeing it come to fruition.

Throughout the years science fiction films have often left Astronauts with only a robot for company, films like Prometheus and Silent Running show that an Astronauts life can be an incredibly lonely one at times. Long periods of time spent away from Earth deep in outer space, far from the comfort of loved ones. Isolation can be a hard feeling to handle.
In 2014, independent game developers Stage Studios painted a picture of one Astronauts lonely journey in Lifeless Planet, a puzzle platforming game developed and published by the studio. Lifeless Planet was originally released in 2014 for Microsoft Windows before being ported to the Xbox One the following year.

Vic B'Stard writes "With the long awaited crowd developed racing simulator Project CARS now on the shelves, it may be time to consider getting a decent racing set-up. Read on as I put the pedal to the metal and take some top-of-the-range kit from Thrustmaster out for a road test.
Now, I love racing games but, apart from the occasional dalliance with my trusty Xbox 360 racing wheel, my on-track antics are reliant on a gamepad. Of course, when I was asked to test out the PC version of Project CARS with a Thrustmaster wheel, pedal and shifter kit, I really couldnt say no."

We love video game music. Along with Japanese music (J-music) it is our favorite music genre. In fact we can usually remember a game better when we hear a particular theme than if someone describes it to us or even seeing a screenshot!
