The Only 15 Pokemon That Matter

Added: 09.06.2015 23:18 | 21 views | 0 comments

15. Zekrom

Starting with Zekrom, a Pokemon from the Black and White era, this guy's a real (electro) shocker.

14. Meganium

Who doesn't like a dinosaur wearing a flower? Oh, you're one of those Water types? Move along then.

13. Scizor

Best Bug type ever.

12. Arcanine

A fire-breathing dog that looks like a tiger, apparently. One of Pokemon's first Fire Stone evolution types.

11. Zapdos

The highest-ranking of Pokemon Red and Blue's original trio of legendary birds, Zapdos is Woody Woodpecker mixed with Big Bird ... and some serious static electricity.

10. Diancie

A mythical rock/fairy type that premiered in last year's Pokemon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction.

9. Snorlax

This rotund form tends to snooze through battles, but if he DOES wake up, beware of high-powered attacks. The closest the series gets to a mash-up with Studio Ghibli's Totoro!

8. Rapidash

A horse with a fire mane that evolves into a unicorn. Because, of course.

7. Pidgeot

The original Pokemon bird.

6. Celebi

One of the rarest of them all, Nintendo let players download this Psychic/Grass type for free back in 2013.

5. Charizard

Equipped with a fire tail that comes in handy as a super smasher, if not a marshmallow toaster.

4. Lucario

A fan favorite who made his debut in the fourth generation of the series. He has also been a staple of Super Smash Bros. since Brawl.

3. Bulbasaur

One of the best starter pocket monsters. Dig the leaf.

2. Mewtwo

A clone of Mew, this cutie became one of the most powerful in the first wave of the series. Look for an appearance in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

1. Pikachu

The most recognized Pokemon in the world. How could we not choose you, Pikachu!

Goliath, The Only Way To Battle Monstrous Giants Is To Create Your Own

Added: 09.06.2015 1:16 | 43 views | 0 comments

Fans of Godzilla and Pacific Rim rejoice, the team at Whalebox Studio are creating this game for you... Unfortunately the team is keeping a pretty tight lid on it, however today they've revealed the below to whet your appetite. In Goliath, players find themselves in a mysterious land consisting of the jumbled fragments of a hundred dead civilizations. Several powerful factions battle for control of this strange and broken world, but even the mightiest amongst them tremble in fear of the monstrous giants that roam the land. To survive among these giant creatures, players must scavenge for resources and materials needed to create Goliaths to either use for battle or barter for their very lives. Starting with simple wooden versions, players will learn to create dozens of Goliaths from a variety of materials: wood, stone, metal and other more unique materials found throughout the world.

Bloodstained Is Coming to PlayStation Vita

Added: 08.06.2015 15:00 | 13 views | 0 comments

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has reached its next Kickstarter goal, securing a port to PlayStation Vita.

Armature Studio will be handling the handheld port, and a physical release is planned as well. Here are the specifics that will be unique to the PS Vita version: Music Export - We thought it would be awesome to be able to export the game’s music to the Vita’s music library. So we’re going to do that. PS4 Cross Save Support - Obviously, we’ll need to work with the PS4 dev team on this, but we’ve done cross save before and we’d love to do it again. Touch Screen Support - Remember how we mentioned drawing on the map on the WiiU version? Why not do that for Vita too? And scrub around the map with your finger as well. PlayStation TV - We’ll also make sure that the game is fully playable on the PS TV. The Kickstarter currently sits at a whopping $3,629,540 in pledge money, with 4 days left in the campaign.

Zarmena Khan writes "Back in May, we shared reports of Sony setting up a new studio in North West England, which will focus on creating Project Morpheus games. We also learned that the studio would be hiring former Evolution Studios staff members. GamesIndustry.biz reported this past week that ex Evolution Studios developers, who worked on titles like DriveClub, MotorStorm and WipEout, have opened a new studio called Secret Sorcery, and it seems to share a lot of similarities with the SCE North West Studio."

ARK: Survival Evolved Sells 200,000 Copies within 48 Hours of Early Access Launch

Added: 06.06.2015 13:16 | 10 views | 0 comments

Castle Pyramid - If major publishers and developers have been too scared to gamble on a game featuring dinosaurs, then they should take some hints from No Mans Sky and ARK: Survival Evolved. While No Mans Sky impressed us with its vast scope, and ability to transition from ground exploration to space exploration seamlessly, seeing those dinosaur-like creatures was also something that sparked interest. ARK: Survival Evolved has also turned heads for its impressive graphics but also because it features dinosaurs. So how has that interest panned out for the indie developer? Studio Wildcard has stated that ARK: Survival Evolved has sold over 200,000 copies within its first 48 of release on Steam Early Access.
