Survival sandbox games are all the rage, but Studio Wildcard's attempt to change the genre adds a non-linear story, open-world exploration through multiple zones, and mountable dinosaurs. GotGame's Josh Boykin talked with Studio Wildcard co-founder Jesse Rapczak to get formation about the Unreal Engine 4-powered game coming to current-gen systems.

ARK: Survival Evolved is the dinosaur video game you've always wanted, or at least that's what Studio Wildcard is shooting for. As a self-described "open-world dinosaur survival game," the newly announced ARK is what Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon would be if it were treated like a main Far Cry game... with a little Turok and DayZ thrown in for good measure.

SEGA recently announced that it will donate all the revenue from a collection of in-game purchases to recovery efforts stemming from the recent earthquake in Nepal. Four games will be involved, including Phantasy Star Online 2, Puyo Puyo!! Quest, Chain Chronicle, and Hortensia Saga. SEGA Games will also donate a separate sum of US$16,800, with Red Cross Japan as the administrator.

We know that Sucker Punch is working on a new PS4 game, and that intends to push its characters beyond what they achieved with in inFAMOUS Second Son and inFAMOUS First Light. Apparently this also means brand new equipment, as the studio has been building a new motion capture setup, as showcased by Character and Cinematic Supervisor Billy Harper.
