For those who are not familiar with Summer Games Done Quick, it is an annual charity event where Speed Demos Archive and Speed Runs Live gets some of the top speedrunners together for a full week of playing and streaming classic and contemporary video games as fast as they can. It is all done in the name of Doctors Without Borders, a nonprofit organization that delivers emergency medical care to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, natural disaster, or exclusion from healthcare in more than 65 countries. The goal is to improve upon their past success after topping over $1.25 million in funds raised for the Prevent Cancer Foundation during Awesome Games Done Quick 2015.
