Review: StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm (PC)

The campaign probably won't reach the audience it deserves, but Heart of the Swarm is Blizzard on top form.
Right off the bat this puts Heart of the Swarm in a rather unusual position. You’ll need to own a copy of Wings of Liberty if you want to play Heart of the Swarm, but the expansion itself is a full-price product, asking for an additional 30 quid in exchange for new units, tweaks, and a brand new solo campaign that knocks the socks off the one from Wings of Liberty.
If you’re strictly only interested in the competitive online aspects of the game, Heart of the Swarm might seem a pretty raw deal. Recent tweaks to the user interface and online matchmaking progression system apply...

| StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm Review: Zerg Rushing towards Resolution | Joystiq

Joystiq: "Heart of the Swarm isn't perfect. Blizzard spends time in the campaign teasing the story of Legacy of the Void when it could be doing Kerrigan's tale a bit more justice. Still, the expansion is well recommended to anyone who enjoyed Wings of Liberty.Heart of the Swarm shakes up the universe and moves a larger threat into place, getting us ready for the resolution in Legacy of the Void."

| News: UK Video Game Chart: Tomb Raider holds on to beat God of War
Added: 18.03.2013 10:05 | 9 views | 0 comments
StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm new at No.3.
Lara's reboot dropped 72 per cent over its blockbuter first week, but sales remained strong enough to prevent God of War: Ascension from taking the top spot. The action prequel recorded the second biggest opening of all five God of War titles, but sold under half the first week total of God of War 3 three years ago.
Activision Blizzard's StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm claims third place, but is likely to have seen its retail sales hampered by the popularity of buying digitally.
Next up is City Interactive's Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 at No.4, bettering the chart...
