Kuma Wrote: I thought I shed some of my feelings towards another Zombie title, but this time coming from Techland and Warner Bros. Entertainment. In all honesty I faced palmed when I saw another zombie game surface because it is getting so old even the zombies are starting to get bored with the human food supply. However this might be an interesting take on the genre if they do what I think they are going to do. Please enjoy the read.

It was October 2011 and European developers Techland release a melee based action zombie game called Dead Island. Admittedly it wasn't the best game, but a strong marketing campaign and word of mouth saw the title sell over 4 million units on PS3 and XBox 360. A sequel was inevitable, and less than two years later that sequel is here, picking up where the last game left off.

DarkStation: "Call of Juarez Gunslinger is Techland at their best and the most fun I have had with a western experience since Red Dead Redemption. Its kind of a shame to know that their A team was working on this while Dead Island Riptide was thrown together but Im grateful that Gunslinger exists because its a solid and fun first person shooter with some great hooks in it. Techland has shown that with a small downloadable title they can shine with the best and I can only hope that this game will serve as a template for the next proper Call of Juarez game because what theyve done here is working and I would love to see it blown up to a full retail game. For fifteen dollars you cant go wrong with Gunslinger."

The image above is a piece of concept art depicting the Polish developers version of Hell in the game."

Developed by Techland and Published by Ubisoft Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is a western themed first person shooter released May 22nd on Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network and Steam. It is the first game in the series to be a digital only release but believe us this does not mean it should be overlooked at all.
