Added: 16.11.2014 14:11 | 9 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "Listen, I know Assassins Creed Unity got a lot of people down. I understand. So why not sit back with a Civilization: Beyond Earth mod that might make things a little better? People have already been adding all kinds of things to the latest Civilization game, despite its youth, and one of those items is an Abstergo Industries Sponsor, thanks to a user who goes by kingchris20."

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Review: Teaching an Old Dog New Tricks | Technology Tell

Added: 16.11.2014 12:14 | 0 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "Sledgehammer Games brings some respect back to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. As one of the franchises wayward players, Im drawn in by the refreshing take on the old franchise. The new Advanced Warfare setting is highlight by futuristic technology that doesnt quite feel as absurd as it has in the past and the campaigns leading men, Kevin Spacey and Troy Baker, make this game the most progressive Call of Duty in years."

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth: Datamining Sucks, But So Does Underestimating People

Added: 14.11.2014 12:11 | 3 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "Something the two really focused on in the interview was how long they were hoping it would take for players to solve the puzzle. And, well, before the datamining, the group on Reddit was probably only a day or so away from solving it anyway. Im absolutely sympathetic to the devs disappointment, but its also a bit unfair to trivialize the legitimate effort the community did put into the puzzle, effectively solving it. All that was left to get the answer was footwork; the puzzle had already been figured out."

Harvest Moon: The Lost Valleys Gareth Better Marry My Character

Added: 14.11.2014 8:11 | 5 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "If theres a wizard in a Harvest Moon game, I marry him. Granted, the only other opportunity to marry a magical character for women who play the game was Harvest Moon: Animal Parade, but still. Though theres only one example, there is a precedent, which is why I better be able to shanghai Gareth into marrying my avatar in Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley."

Tales of Hearts R Review: Strong Nipples | Technology Tell

Added: 13.11.2014 21:11 | 10 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "Rather, the only real problem I had with Tales of Hearts R is its translation. The thing about this installment is that it relies very heavily on JRPG standards. Youll see certain archetypes appear throughout the game, and the premise and nature of the world are the only things that are really unique. Unfortunately, Bandai Namco didnt perform the best localization, so not only do some character and plot elements feel dated due to their familiarity, but the occasionally awkward, hokey, and flawed phrases exacerbate things."

Prelude to Dragon Age Inquisition: The Tapestry and Dragon Age The Last Court

Added: 13.11.2014 11:12 | 2 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "As I went through the Tapestry I was reminded of just how vast Dragon Age Origins was, as well as how selective my memory is. I remembered the big stuff: who I romanced, who killed the archdemon, who I recruited. Other things I had forgotten entirely, and I had to try to put myself back in the mindset of the 2009-model Eric and guess what that rascal wouldve done. I dont remember if I chose Harrowmont or Bhelen to rule the dwarven kingdom of Orzammar, though I remember not liking either of them. I didnt even remember Alistair had a half-sister Goldanna, let alone whether I helped him find her or not. The urn of sacred ashes, the arl of Redcliffe, so much of it is a blur, not to mention all the DLC. There were so many decisions effecting so many characters that I have a hard time believing many of them will have any real ramifications in the world of Dragon Age: Inquisition, though that may just be Dragon Age II talking."
