The Sims 4 Pools Make the Game Feel Complete

Added: 06.11.2014 18:11 | 8 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "Not that The Sims 4 didnt feel finished before. It was very obviously a complete game, albeit with a few bugs. However, it felt like I was missing out on some part of the overall experience. The Sims 4 pools issue should have seemed like a minor thing. Except, every house I have ever designed in any The Sims game has always had a pool."

Quickscoping is Still a Go-To Move in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Added: 06.11.2014 10:16 | 1 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "There may be no tactic in Call of Duty more controversial than quickscoping. Using this technique, a player with a sniper rifle points it and fires as soon as the crosshairs are centered. Its one of those things that works in a video game but would never be useful in real life. Some people love it and have mastered it as a way to get quick kills. In the hands of a skilled player, its a one-shot kill and more effective than entering an assault rifle or submachine gun duel."

Added: 06.11.2014 9:11 | 3 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "Its a simple process I went through myself yesterday. In case anyone else is thinking of biting and grabbing a PlayStation TV for the price of a single game, I figured Id share the ease with which someone can make a foreign system work with their domestic account. Especially since, like the Vita, the PlayStation TV is a region-free device that works with cartridges from around the world."

Persona Q Preview: How Sweet the Sound | Technology Tell

Added: 06.11.2014 9:11 | 3 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "All it takes is a confirmation chime for Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth to make me smile. Silly, isnt it? I begin the game on my 3DS, and the first thing that comes up is a reminder that map data is stored on the SD card, so I should always have one inserted while I play. I have to press a button to acknowledge I know this, and thats when I hear it. The familiar chime."

Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 Review: Pac it Up | Technology Tell

Added: 06.11.2014 0:12 | 0 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "But for all that Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 gets right, so much of it just doesnt work out well. Much of the time, these issues come up for specific consecutive stages and then disappear. Certain Space and Netherworld levels experience considerable slowdown that makes timing jumps and chaining ghost chomping difficult. The first half of the Prehistoria levels suddenly punish you for exploring side paths, activity that was previously encouraged, either by having you take immediate damage for barely jumping out to them or by not including a valid way to get back onto the proper trail once youve successfully reached them. A chase sequence where youre fleeing from a dinosaur is amazingly buggy. If you are caught by the beast, possibly because you wanted the fruit piece found during the sequence, it will try to pitch you off the cliff. If it succeeds, youll respawn at the start with it already closing on you, starting its throwing animation erratica...
