Technology Tell writes, "You need to get yourself, a wolf, a sheep, and a potted plant across a river. The boat only has room for you and one other passenger. If you leave the sheep alone with the plant, the sheep will eat it. If you leave the wolf alone with the sheep, the wolf will eat it. How do you get yourself and all three passengers across the river in the smallest number of trips? If answering riddles like that is your idea of a fun time, youll greatly enjoy Poltergeist, A Pixelated Horror."

Civilization: Beyond Earth Ruins Sleep Patterns

Added: 28.10.2014 21:11 | 3 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "But, its never just one more turn with Civilization: Beyond Earth, because one more turn is never enough with Civilization. Even with saves, each turn is more crucial than the last. Besides, if you save now, you could forget exactly what you wanted to do with that next turn should you come to it at a more reasonable hour the next day. Theres only now. Theres only this. No turn but that next one."

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition Review: The Gang is Back Together | Technology Tell

Added: 28.10.2014 7:11 | 3 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "It feels good to be back in Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Editions virtual Hong Kong. I enjoyed my first trip there but I didnt realize how much I yearned to go back. What a difference beefed up resolution can make for Wei Shens adventures. Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition doesnt quite get the same level of makeover Lara Croft got in Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, but its worth revisiting or playing for the first time."

An Interview With SUTD Game Lab, the Team Behind One Upon Light

Added: 27.10.2014 20:12 | 15 views | 0 comments

The first ever original game developed in Singapore for the PlayStation 4 comes to us in the form of One Upon Light. Developed by the Singapore University Technology and Design (SUTD) Game Lab and published by SUTD, the game is a monochromatic hybrid of the stealth and puzzle genre. While the games look is quite reminiscent of 2010s Limbo, its top-down perspective and photophobic gameplay does a good job of making the title stand out.

Technology Tell writes, "It seems the version of Fantasy Life that has been released outside of Japan is Fantasy Life Link!. There was a strong indication of this early on, since the base game includes the online multiplayer that wasnt present in the 2012 original, and added for the 2013 Link!. However, it is now confirmed that purchasing the $8.99 Origin Island Expansion Pack DLC does involve downloading two blocks worth of data that unlocks the content within the game."

Alien: Isolation: A Beautiful Place to Die

Added: 22.10.2014 21:12 | 6 views | 0 comments

Technology Tell writes, "Alien: Isolation is an attempt to redeem the franchise, partially by reproducing the tension of the original Alien, and partially by incorporating the lessons in building immersive worlds that video games have been imparting for the last generation. Alien: Isolation is just as much Bioshock as it is Alien, Sevastopol Station arriving by way of Rapture. Alien: Isolation exchanges underwater for space and the past for the future, but the result is similar: an immense enclosed system thats in a state of tumultuous decay. Both games create coherent, fully-formed worlds that rigorously adhere to a particular design aesthetic."
