Premier to take place on March 18 in San Francisco.
Produced by Valve, the film will premier a day earlier at a public screening and live Q&A sessions at the Castro Theater in San Francisco.
The documentary film looks into the lives of three professional gamers in Asia, North America and Europe, who share a passion for Dota 2.
In the film viewers will meet not only the three gamers, but also their families and loved ones as they prepare for the first $1 million prize in pro gaming.
Dota 2 has seven million active monthly players.

Nightmare Edition contains new difficulty, Theater Mode and DLC goodies.
Killer Is Dead: Nightmare Edition, which hits PC on May 9, features a new Nightmare Mode difficulty and a new Theater Mode that lets players rewatch cutscenes and get "extended background information on characters".
It also includes the Smooth Operator Pack released previously on console, featuring X-ray glasses, new outfits and an additional mission.
