Some said it would never happen: The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is now on Nintendo platforms. Random Nintendo shares full impressions of the game's Nintendo debut, plus weighs in on the ongoing Devil's Third drama and discusses Nintendo's unexpected arcade renaissance (including hands-on impressions of Mario Kart Arcade GP DX).
Devil's Third's creator Tomonobu Itagaki still believes the upcoming action-shooter will be a "breakthrough for the industry" that will "take shooters to the next level", despite the game being heavily criticised in a recent wave of previews.
Carl Williams writes, "Everyone that is reading this knows that Mortal Kombat never saw release on the Atari 2600. If you didnt, now you do. That has not stopped indie developer and Atari Age forum member, Facemeat, from creating an action adventure title set in the Mortal Kombat world for the classic Atari console. Mortal Kombat Netherrealm Journey is a 2D side scrolling action adventure that is actually pretty good considering the limitations of the platform. Think Mortal Kombat meets Pitfall and you will be pretty close to what you will get in Netherrealm Journey."
What are you really getting with No Man's Sky? The answer is a beautiful open universe exploration created through procedural generation where the only limit is with social interaction.
