But it won't be out this year.

Speaking to Eurogamer, Yamauchi revealed "we are working on the title," but added that he doesn't think "it'll make this year".

He also said that Gran Turismo 7 would likely skip a Prologue release, with Polyphony instead focussing on the full release.

Standard cars from Gran Turismo's PS2 era will likely remain in Gran Turismo 7, too, Yamauchi said, although some of them may be upgraded to Premium, highly detailed models.

"I doubt that we'll be throwing away the standard cars," he added. "Each car has its own fans. So I think we'll hang on to the archive....
