Connected Digital World writes: So its GT time again! At least this time we didnt have to wait 5 years. I was quite disappointed with GT5 so I was well ready for some GT goodness. But I thought it best to start off on a strangely negative point. But its so major it can only make sense at the start.

The Black Panel writes: The spectacular driving of Gran Turismo returns. Unfortunately some other legacies of a bygone era also come along for the ride. Terrible menus, bland presentation, poor damage modelling and simplistic AI create the impression of playing Gran Turismo 1 with a fresh coat of paint. The attention to detail, great car physics and sheer amount of content goes a long way to making up for that. Still, its hard not to feel that GT is stuck in the past and needs a shakeup in the next iteration.

With the release of Gran Turismo 6 on Next-Gen console and was very successful. Till now GT6 sold 300,000 units stateside, but in the same period, GT5 sold 1,169,074 copies to American owners.
