Gamer's Palace: "The gameplay is not a revolution, and we would have expected much more, but for the start of a series, it is sufficient in all cases. However, the DLCs and the ingame shop are absolute rubbish that spoils fun for all of us. Evolve is a nice game for short, but not for extended gaming sessions. We can recommend it to you however, as it is a welcomed change from other multiplayer shooters out there. After Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock have shown again that they can do good multiplayers. However, we would have loved a real story mode, because the pure multiplayer part may result in fatigue in the long run. Let's hope they do not drop the brand and correct their mistakes in a sequel. "
