The ball moves in accordance with the angles at which the p...

GodisaGeek: "It is shocking how a studio renowned for making great original titles could produce such a mis-fire. There are so many elements of Lococycle that dont work well, or that are just plain boring, it is hard to see how the game could have been released on Xbox One. The fact that Lococycle was intended to be an Xbox 360 game to begin with is quite clear, as it does nothing to take advantage of the new power that the Xbox One affords it. Despite a mixed bag of launch titles on the console, this is by far the biggest disappointment, as Twisted Pixel have delighted us so much in the past."

ThisisXbox: "Twisted Pixels first title on the Xbox One launched on the Marketplace a few weeks ago by the name of LocoCycle. Its a rather mad, yet slightly insane racing title featuring a bike that can perform a number of stunts and trick shots both on the open road and in mid-air. With live-action cut-scenes that further fuels the insanity between levels LocoCycle is a decent enough arcade game, but nothing that grabs you by the balls. Its pretty average, but as a budget priced download title its not trying to be anything else!"

Ken McKown writes: Twisted Pixel is the kind of developer that always has my attention when they release a new game. It isnt because they are genre-defining, but mostly because they have a genuine talent to make me laugh. Their games are almost always funny, and usually mixed with some type of mechanic that hasnt been beaten to death. LocoCycle continues that trend; well sort of. It has its moments of humor, and the game itself is akin to the classic Spy Hunter franchise, but overall it just falls short in several categories that make it one of their least impactful titles to date.

McDonalds is gearing up to begin its new One Hot Holiday promotion on December 3 that features Xbox One bundles as its grand prize. Thats not so crazy; it seems like every corporation is running some sort of contest to win next-gen consoles. However, McDonalds also happens to be giving away a whole lot of copies of Twisted Pixel titles.

Glitch Cat - LocoCycle is probably Twisted Pixels most insane game, and thats saying something considering their past endeavors. The 5-hour running time saves it from seriously wearing out its welcome, but thats not enough to let I.S.I.S. drag you through a sometimes fun but mostly repetitive and tedious romp all over the US.

Well known for their innovative and character-driven indie titles, Twisted Pixel Games is back on the Xbox market with their ambitious Xbox One launch title, LocoCycle. When I first heard the title LocoCycle during the E3 announcements, I thought the game resembled a crazier version of Happy Wheels (dont pretend like you havent played it at least once).
