Fuel Overdose Review | ComboCaster

Added: 06.07.2013 9:17 | 10 views | 0 comments

Vehicle combate games are admittedly a genre full of flaws. The best game of the genre, Twisted Metal is great but it is also proof that the best one can do. Fuel Overdose is far to be as good as Twisted Metal, really far. It is a game that is little more than annoyed, despite even good ideas, just none of them really works. In Fuel Overdose begin by choosing a character, each has its strengths, such as speed and a unique ability. Like all games in the genre are guns. Some more traditional like mines and machine guns and other slightly more original such as a hook that can be used on curves to give us a little "boost" of speed. During races will earn money to buy better weapons and ammunition.

E3 2013: Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number's Twisted Bloody Heart | Hardcore Gamer

Added: 19.06.2013 19:17 | 3 views | 0 comments

The big important sequel bits are all to be found in the story. It's several years since the events of Hotline Miami and a small cult has built up around jacket's actions. Multiple characters interact and become playable as the story progresses, but their motivations remain their own. You as the player are an observer, along for the ride, and if a character acts odd it's internally consistent even if the game doesn't spell out why. The overall theme of the story focuses on the idea of "endings", seeing as it's the last (and only other) game in the series, but endings can mean different things to different people.

Lococycle - Preview

Putting the "A" back in XBLA.

There's a certain irony in the fact that a good chunk of the folks who've downloaded a Twisted Pixel game on Xbox Live Arcade have never actually been in a real arcade. Not that that's their fault, seeing as arcades have essentially vanished from North America.

E3 impressions: hands-on with LocoCycle | OXM

Added: 12.06.2013 21:17 | 11 views | 0 comments

OXM: "If theres a 'cant miss' developer amongst Microsofts stable, its probably Twisted Pixel. From their humble beginnings with XBLA charmer The Maw, to the Splosion Man series, to one of the few Better with Kinect" games in the form of The Gunstringer, there's nary a speedbump in the developers Xbox oeuvre. Their premiere Xbox One title (also due for Xbox Live Arcade on the 360), LocoCycle, goes a bit further off the beaten path than the studios previous efforts, opting for speed-laced action that makes the exploding jumps of Mr. and Ms. Splosion look like leaps on a lilypad."
