its no secret, that Assassins Creed has a monster of a fan base including us, So it comes to no surprise that all of us were eagerly waiting the new single player DLC, which includes 3 episodes in The Tyranny of King Washington saga. players and fans of Assassins Creed 3 will agree that they loved the latest character, Conner (I am not writing his other name, deal with it) and with the latest announcement that the next game will not revolve around him, the more chances you get to use and play with him, The question is, does The Tyranny of King Washington live up to the expectations set by assassins creed 3, or does it fall short of being the DLC we want?

Digital Spy: "Out of the three, we'd recommend 'The Redemption' over the previous episodes - and you don't need to purchase the other two to play it - but ultimately, the series fails to live up to its promising premise."

Assassins Creed III: The Tyranny Of King Washington - The Redemption Review | OXM

OXM: "Despite clocking in at around 2.5 hours, The Redemption rushes you through the final paces of the three-part Tyranny of King Washington saga so doggedly and with such gaping holes throughout the narrative that we were left with a sense of nagging unfulfillment, not closure. A few instances of greatness shine through, like the build-up to your final confrontation with Washington, which gave us the first real boss-battle nerves weve experienced in Assassins Creed. But its not enough to erase the feeling that our time in frontier-era New York was merely a highly interactive but rather shallow bit of cinema."

RealGamerNewz Assassin's Creed 3 Tyranny Of The King Review

I was originally going to do individual episode reviews, but deiced that doing a full review on all them together would get the full story and sanctification I wanted as a fan of the series. We all know the United States of Americas history of beating the impossible odds of winning a revolution against the worlds most powerful country England. This takes a little spin on the whole lid, the U.S. still wins the war but something goes wrong and the whole cycle gets renewed as Mad King Washington goes crazy with power. Only Connor can stop him but..not as himself.

Assassins Creed III: The Tyranny Of King Washington - The Redemption Review | GameFront

Added: 05.05.2013 5:19 | 76 views | 0 comments

GameFront: "The Redemption itself ends on a ho-hum note and, while it occasionally can be a fun time, it never reaches the point of being exceptional or even especially compelling. And looking back, neither does The Tyranny of King Washington. Its an expansion back that was bursting with potential, but which winds up being mired in the doldrums of weak storytelling. The Tyranny takes no risks, and it becomes hard to be all that enthusiastic about it. Animal powers and George Washington making his angry face arent really worth the $30 asking price, or really, the six- to eight-hour time commitment unless youre some kind of huge Assassins Creed fan. The rest of us wont gain much from the experience except a lighter wallet."
