Kotaku:
"Warren Spector - one of the main creative minds behind Deus Ex, and more recently head of programme director of the Denius-Sams Gaming Academy at the University of Texas in Austin - was, like many of us, not enormously convinced about VR."

The University wants you to go to the town of Nowe Monasterzysko and lead the excavations in the area of an old cemetery. You'll have a 14 days permit so make a good use of that time - locate as many ruins and catalogue as many finds as possible.
Inspect, dig, excavate! Find hidden ruins, clear and identify your finds, buy upgrades and manage your excavations!

| A musicologist's look at 'Final Fantasy VI'

Classical MPR: "I met Ryan Thompson shortly after Top Score began in 2011. At the time, Ryan lived in the Twin Cities. He's a PhD candidate in musicology at the University of Minnesota, with a special interest in ludomusicology.
If you're unaware what that last word means, you're not alone. Ludomusicology is a growing field in which musicologists study the impact of music in video games. When I first met Ryan, he'd been working on a paper about the opera scene in Final Fantasy VI.
Final Fantasy VI came out in 1994, and I was not a gamer in 1994. I had no idea the opera existed until I met Ryan. I invited him to come to the studios here at MPR to talk about the unusual musical event (for a video game), and learned a great deal about how the opera mirrors the plot of the entire game."

Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion, known as QUBE, was developed as a final project of three friends and students of the University of Newport. After the good feedback received by the community they decided to finish and publish in Desura in December 2011 for PC. A month later came to Steam, a year later it appeared in Mac and four more years we have had to wait for reaching consoles. Now is available on PS3, PS4, Xbox and it will come to Wii U soon. Daniel Da Rocha, Jonathan Savery and Dave Hall have taken note of the criticism in its version for PC and Mac and have tried to give us a bonus of quality with Director's cut
