Tony Polanco from The Koalition writes:
"This first episode, Chrysalis, mostly deals with introducing us to Max and her world. Shes attending the prestigious Blackwell University where she is majoring in photography. Max is a bit of a geek so she doesnt exactly fit in. She has to deal with things likes boys, catty girls, and trying to avoid asshole adults. She mysteriously gains the ability to rewind time after seeing a future where her hometown is destroyed by a monster tornado. This is obviously the big threat that she will have to be dealt with, but for this episode its really more about establishing Max and her relationships."

| Mario Lives! Nintendo icon endowed with artificial intelligence by German students
Added: 20.01.2015 11:10 | 13 views | 0 comments
Students at Germany's University of Tubingen have created a programme that gives Nintendo's iconic mascot Mario artificial intelligence (AI) which allows it to learn.
The project, called Mario Lives! An Adaptive Learning AI Approach for Generating a Living and Conversing Mario Agent, allows players to communicate with and teach Mario about the familiar game he inhabits recreated by the researchers.
"Mario, how do you feel," asks one student in the example video below. "I feel very good," replies the plumber. Later the AI is asked what he knows about enemy Goombas. "I don't know anything about it," he responds before being told to find and kill one. He does so, then is asked what he knows about Goombas. "If I jump on Goomba, then it maybe dies," he says.
