Act of Aggression Review | Gamespot

Gamespot:
Its a strange thing to know that youre powerless. As the realization dawns, possibilities and options fall away, leaving you with one inevitable conclusion. While wave after wave of my bombers streak across the sky, I have to imagine that my opponent is feeling helpless. When the bombers drop their payload, it will mark my sixth consecutive multiplayer victory using the same tactic. But the more I play, the more Ive come to realize that Act of Aggression builds itself on these moments. Each player probes his or her foes, poking for weaknesses before they inexorably find one. But even then, the end comes slowly, and the loser has time to reflect on what went wrong.

| Game Museum The MADE's new Kickstarter
Added: 19.09.2015 21:17 | 85 views | 0 comments
Remember the Kickstarter for The MADE (Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment)? It was one of the first big Kickstarters and a pretty big deal for those of us who know games are more than pixels colliding, but represent a savvy, certain kind of culture, captured in polygon pictures that allow players to talk about simulated adventure stories using I instead of a characters name. What makes The MADE special is its emphasis on helping to expand gamer culture by previously offering free programming lessons and playable exhibitions of historically significant games. These are the guys that helped relaunch the first digital MMO, The Habitat. Now The MADE Kickstarter has a sequel to help them expand their presence in Oakland, California.

Some games get ported to modern consoles for no comprehensible reason. What the heck is Crossroad Crisis and what's it doing on my PlayStation 3? Well, it's actually a surprisingly fun little puzzler that's worth checking out.

| Super Mario Maker Review Lets Get Making | GeekSnack

GS:" When Super Mario Maker was announced two years ago, I was instantly in love with the idea of playing Super Mario stages created by players. At the same time, I wasnt very interested in the actual creation of stages: designing a good stage requires time and effort and I wasnt really sure I would be motivated enough to work on a course for long periods of time. As soon as I got my hands on the game and played through the short tutorial, however, I realized I was very, very wrong. Super Mario Maker is an incredibly addictive experience that takes you in and doesnt let you go easily."
