While yes, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is undoubtedly a massive game, it looks like the final product isn't actually the full experience Kojima Productions set out to deliver. There are a number of characters that don't really get proper conclusions by the time the credits roll, and now we know why.

| Six Most Shocking Times You Turned Out To Be The Bad Guy

While series like Dungeon Master and Overlord are open and unrepentant about letting you play as the villain, more than a few games have managed to sneak in those unexpected twists that leave you with your mouth agape as you realize you've either become the bad guy... or you've been him all along.

| Metal Gear Week: The Top 50 Moments of Metal Gear Solid 4
Added: 03.09.2015 16:18 | 44 views | 0 comments
Scott Russell writes: "In celebration of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pains release this week, the team at Power Up Gaming are recounting our love for the previous games in the series. While my opinion may be entirely divisive amongst the Metal Gear community, I still feel that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is the best of the series, and it is of course my favourite game of all time. Its moment to moment stealth action may be lacking in length, but its endless cutscenes and dialogue separate these vignettes of play with unsettling tension, paramount emotion and insanely superb minutiae. It can be seen as a masterpiece from almost every angle, and its difficult to select singular instances of greatness. As a result, I have produced a list of MGS4s top 50 unforgettable moments; a fitting number that represents its grandeur through precision and wide-spreading remembrance."

| Pillars of Eternity - The White March: Part 1 Review (GameWatcher)

From GameWatcher: "Obsidian has taken a nostalgic trip back to the tundra for Pillars of Eternitys first major piece of DLC, and the frozen setting isnt the only thing in The White March Part One that brings to mind the combat-focused games of the Icewind Dale series. The focus here is firmly on battle, exploration and looting; that means that a little of the character and mystery of the main game is lost, but theres still plenty of fun to be had."

| PAX Prime 2015: Shadowrun: Hong Kong Hands-On Preview | RPGFan

RPGFan:
The classic cRPG. Such choice, such exposition, such clicking. Alright, in truth I am largely uninitiated in the cRPG tradition, having played a few no-name titles on my dad's clunky work laptop that I quickly abandoned for lack of interest. In some ways, this puts me at a disadvantage to talk about Shadowrun: Hong Kong. But seen through a different lens, I am coming to the game with a blank slate. While I cannot make any final pronouncements, I can say that I liked what I saw on the PAX Prime floor and think the game is worth a shot.
