GA:
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is a digital only title developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda. As a big fan of the 2014 release The New Order (our review here), I was pretty excited when the game was announced this past March. Originally meant to be two pieces of story DLC for last year's release, the developers decided to build the two add ons into one stand alone title. I think this was a good decision because this gives fans the chance to play a smaller entry in the series without having to have played TNO. Wolfenstein had a lot of cool old school first person shooter aspects in my opinion and it is great to see they kept just about everything intact for this release.

FilmGamesEtc -After the critical success of MachineGames 2014 title Wolfenstein: The New Order, which took players on an alternate-history romp through a different kind of Nazi regime in 1960s Europe, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood seeks to return the series to its roots of World War II. The standalone expansion has you play as series protagonist Agent William Joseph BJ Blazkowicz as you, once again, fight through 1940s war-torn Nazi Germany in an attempt to infiltrate Castle Wolfenstein and disrupt the plans of Nazi archeologist Helga Von Schabbs.

GamingLives takes a look at Bethesda's latest installment to the Wolfenstein franchise.
"Itll take about four to six hours to beat the campaign, potentially longer if youre interested in seeking out all the collectibles, and theres always the Challenge mode if your trigger finger is still itchy. And its ultimately quite a shallow experience that never hits the emotional depths of The New Order, nor commits wholly to its rather ridiculous plot. But if youre looking for a fun way to kill some time, and kill a shedload of Nazis, you really cannot go wrong here."

| UK Video Game Charts: Project CARS fends off Wolfenstein to hold on to No.1
Added: 18.05.2015 10:17 | 29 views | 0 comments
Project CARS has held on to the UK No.1 for two weeks in a row - the first title from Bandai Namco to do so since 1999's Ridge Racer Type 4.
Despite sales falling 64 percent week-on-week, Slightly Mad's racer managed to fend-off new release Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, which enters the charts at No.2. Bethesda's shooter proved far more popular on PS4 than Xbox One, however, selling over twice as many units on Sony's console. 67 percent of boxed copies of The Old Blood were sold on PS4, compared with just 27 percent on Xbox One.
GTA 5, meanwhile, falls one place to No.3 following a 25 percent drop in sales, but Rockstar will still be celebrating as it passes a total of 5 million units sold in the UK.
